PR Agency Wins Advertising Award?

Ridgemount PR took home three trophies from the 2017 Construction Marketing Awards, with the win for best Advertising campaign a testament to some great collaborative teamwork.

Ridgemount is not an advertising agency – and our Highly Commended in the PR Agency of the Year category reflects our focus on the PR side of the marketing mix.  However, when we are looking at integrated marketing campaigns we are happy to collaborate.

The Advertising award, recognising a great campaign for Knauf, is a reflection of the way we like to work. Three agencies: ifour for creative, threepipe for online advertising and Rigemount PR for print and social media, collaborated over a four month campaign to ensure all channels were covered.  Great creative, excellent advertising placement and a strong social media campaign combined to drive a high-impact programme.

During the entire Awards programme there were just two Highly Commended awards presents – and we won them both!

First was in the Best Big Budget campaign, where our integrated marketing programme for Brett Landscaping was recognised for the substantial shift in presentation for the company.  A revitalised press relations programme, supported by a strong and varied social media campaign integrated with an entirely new creative approach to print advertising. 

Our last trip to the winners' stage was to collect the Highly Commended award in the PR Agency of the Year category.  The judges noted the impact of a young and hugely enthusiastic team and the expanding range of services provided by Ridgemount PR. 

Ridgemount appeared twice more in the shortlists for the evening.  In the Best Medium Budget Campaign for the "where’s Beanie?” campaign for longstanding Ridgemount client H+H and in the Best Branding and Positioning category for the Knauf campaign.
