We’re small but we’re good!  Established for over 20 years, Ridgemount has a loyal and stable client base consisting mainly of organisations related to the building industry. We could happily stay that way, but we have an ambitious five year growth plan and are looking for people with enthusiasm, commitment and a sense of humour to help us achieve it.

We’ve made a great start.  In December 2015 we won the coveted title of Agency of The Year at the Construction Marketing Awards for the first time, announcing to the world at large that we are a force to be reckoned with, and we are not up for standing still. In 2016 we won the social media category of the CMAs and were also shortlisted as Agency of the Year in the 2017 Marketing Excellence Awards.

It may just be a coincidence, but since then our business has really started to take off.  This year we have added three clients and are adding services to our existing client portfolio all the time.  With several new opportunities in the pipeline it’s all got frantically busy and we need an enthusiastic, diligent Account Executive to help us grow further.

Our core business is in the construction sector and many of our clients require B2B campaigns. However, we also have a small, but growing, number of clients whose campaigns are definitely consumer-facing and we would like to grow this area of business.  The current client base to be managed by the incoming account manager includes:  a luxury ceramics company; a housebuilder and a trade association promoting the benefits of smaller building contractors. We are therefore looking for someone with B2C experience with the flexibility to embrace B2B campaigns where appropriate.

We are a small team that works collaboratively – we don’t really do hierarchies, but we are recruiting for people who can manage PR accounts.  This involves the following responsibilities:

  • Writing copy for press, social media and in-house publications
  • Maintaining accurate activity logs and evaluation reports
  • Commissioning photography and organising meetings and events
  • Attending client meetings and providing reports, minutes and summaries
  • Contributing creatively to social media programmes
  • Forming excellent working relationships with key media contacts
  • Participating in networking opportunities to promote clients and agency

To support our clients effectively, everyone needs to gain an understanding of the building industry – this can involve muddy feet! We pride ourselves on the ability to write effective copy for different audiences so we need to be able to get technical when required and to get under the skin of everyone within the supply chain – from architects to plumbers, from legislators to electricians.

We need our new team members to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • An enthusiasm for social media and digital communication channels
